QA Automation Engineer

Experience: 3–5 Years

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer with a strong background in automated and performance testing across web and API platforms. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with modern testing tools, frameworks, and CI/CD integration, and a passion for delivering high-quality, reliable software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain end-to-end automated test suites for UI, API, and performance testing.
• Implement and manage test automation using Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript); Playwright with Python is a strong plus.
• Develop and execute API tests using Postman, Rest-Assured, or similar tools.
• Conduct performance testing using JMeter or equivalent frameworks.
• Integrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or AWS tools to ensure early bug detection and faster releases.
• Contribute to defining test strategies, setting test coverage goals, and establishing release quality criteria.
• Perform exploratory and manual testing when necessary to ensure comprehensive validation.
• Continuously explore and adopt new tools, frameworks, and best practices in QA automation.
• Document test plans, test cases, and test results clearly and effectively.
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts.

Required Skills:

• Proficient in Playwright for web automation (JavaScript/TypeScript); Python experience is advantageous.
• Solid understanding of API testing frameworks and methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of performance testing concepts and tools (e.g., JMeter).
• Experience integrating automated tests within CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on experience developing reusable and scalable test automation frameworks (data-driven, keyword-driven, or BDD).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
